Already moved the Valida. I bought it ghost white bleached. It's just gotten so healthy it's consuming the corner. I stopped feeding, strictly photo feeding now lol Link to comment

BocaIvan
Is the clam laying in the sand now or do you have it slightly raised with something? I am looking to purchasing one soon but I am afraid of what my Goby will do to it. Link to comment

I am looking to purchasing one soon but I am afraid of what my Goby will do to it. go for it, just keep nitrates low and phosphates and low to nil.... goby shouldnt bother it. my cleaner shrimp pisses it off more than anything. always pickin at it, and runnin on it, and then jumping back onto my acros and pissing them off..... Eco Reef has 4 or 5...few derasas and 2 maximas... check em out... decently priced compared to other stores... i just have a small little rock underneath and it sits below the sand, and the clam grabs onto it with its foot. SouthFlorida_Tron
just ccurious, do you run a fuge with chaeto??? or a skimmer? Link to comment
BocaIvan
Chaeto, want/need a piece? No skimmer, with frequent water changes, you shouldn't need one, IMO. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
Chaeto, want/need a piece? No skimmer, with frequent water changes, you shouldn't need one, IMO. No just curious if u use it, cuz ur water will be wet, & even wetter with a skimmer. Link to comment
BocaIvan
Well it def. looks wet. I don't think the skimmer is necessary with the amount and frequency of the water changes I'm doing. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
Ya I don't use one either, however I would want one, just no space for it... You'd be surprised at how effective it still is even though frequent water changes. Link to comment
BocaIvan
yea... Not enough space for a good skimmer and they could be loud... by the way, check out my build thread, it may look a bit familiar... Link to comment
