frahny
This is true. I may follow up on that. Also I am debating spraypainting the casing for my Current T5 fixture. Thoughts? I would! the whole white theme is a very solid The white light casing would only complete the set! Very clean sir Very clean Link to comment

AJ_Tsin
thanks for guinea pigging this. if it works out well for you, ill know what colors I can use for my pvc backs No problem, however I don't consider it guinea pigging, more like innovating or differentiating. I want this system to have everything a great setup should but I also want it to possess a bit of originality, hence the white theme and the pensinsula rimless setup among other things. Hopefully it looks great and then you all can evolve these ideas. hard as ####ing nails Lol so nice !! lets see some H2O In a day or two, just waiting on the light mount to be built, as I will need to bolt that onto the back of the stand. I would! the whole white theme is a very solid The white light casing would only complete the set! Very clean sir Very clean man that looks hot. definitely go for the white lock line and spraypaint the light fixture, i say. I think I will. But I am gonna wait and hang it to see how it looks with the steel coloured light mount. Thanks again everyone. Stay tuned for more. Link to comment

Paleoreef103
I wanted to try something new. I haven't seen one white either, I went with a white overflow and a white trim to tie the whole thing together. I think it looks awesome now... I am having a light hanger welded as we speak which will be brushed stainless steel. It is going to look great. You can see what I mean about how nice the white looks. My 15 gallon tank is painted white too (haven't updated in too long though) including the Nova Extreme fixture. I love the look of it. Tank looks great and let me tell you, deeply colored corals really pop against the white. Link to comment

Crackerballer
I took apart my extra NEP tonight to start doing some mods on it (fans, see if I can fit a an Icecap 660 in there, etc) and it looks like it may be difficult to paint. Probably gonna need a good sanding, priming, a few coatings, then a nice clear (I would do a glossy). Would be totally #### if you did it. White Elos fixture is gangster Link to comment

AJ_Tsin
any updates? Hey folks, just in time for the September FTS contest deadline here are the updates. I will let the photos speak for themselves, but I had a custom bracket welded to match the modern aquarium look. I went for a brushed aluminum bracket to suspend the fixture which I think turned out really nice. Then I hung the fixture with standard aircraft cable. Here are some shots of how it was assembled and how it turned out. Link to comment
timdanger
curious to hear what you think about the Bubble-Magus cone. I've got the NAC3+. I run it in probably 7-7.5" of water with no trouble (deeper would be better, i guess). Link to comment

Giga
looks good but the fixture doesn't seem to fit-kinda clunky Link to comment
schgr.cube
Wowwwww this is going to be great =) I agree with the above statement, but it doesn't really bother me a ton. A smaller fixture would add a ton to the aesthetics of this. Link to comment
DirtyC
maybe if he painted it silver might look a little better Link to comment
