CollegeNano
I recently moved to a new place and set up a 40 breeder, taking down the 46 bow that had been plaguing me for some time now. Algae issues were the main problem, and the goal of this new start is to keep algae in check! Although the move went smoothly, almost all of my SPS bleached and died. I must have missed something, because I have moved this tank so many times without any survival issues, but I am taking the losses well due to the fact that my new tank seems to be successfully repelling the algae so far! I wanted to make the move to the 40 breeder as affordable as possible. I kept all of my old equipment and found a nifty way to build a stand that is both solid and not an eyesore. I posted that journey in this thread. I set up the new tank in the living room: I just took a few pics of the livestock because I have not done so in a while. Here is one of my proudest pieces, my at least 5 year old crocea. You can compare it to its smaller, around 3 year old counterpart! And here is a brain I got today from the LFS on impulse! Any my favorite fuzzy dwarf lionfish! Link to comment
