purplefirefish Posted October 7, 2008 Author Share Posted October 7, 2008 hmmm the tank today... the sand band is cluttered with frags from Mr Coral... the 10 cent sale sounded interesting so i after buying a zoa frag pack.... i ended up with around 22 frags, but dont ask me which ones i paid reg price for and which ones were 10 cents... this ones my favorite so far... i was also happy that only a few came on frag plugs.. most are on LR Rubble ah, also in the corner of the tank is a very grumpy toadstool... i just moved it around, also the frogspawn is gone... someone wanted it more then i did so i let it go Link to comment

purplefirefish Posted October 17, 2008 Author Share Posted October 17, 2008 i dunno which one of those it is... but its spreading lol. i'll try to post some new pics of it soon actually... i got it as part of a 3 frag deal for 20 bucks it looks better now that its eating... ive actually fragged a few pieces off that were on the edge and im trying it different places. everything i read seems to contradict itself on these guys... some say low light low flow some say high light highflow. right now its dead in the center of the flow and at the highest point in the tank and it loves it there lol Link to comment
purplefirefish Posted October 17, 2008 Author Share Posted October 17, 2008 i havent posted many pics of the frags i got from Mr Coral since theyve all settled in... haha this one.. could be one of my favorites.. even if hes singled out! these guys never catch a break in my tank.. as soon as they're fully open and enjoying it the clowns try to host them and they shrivel back up to nothing... i may get rid of them i wasmt aware of this bivalve until a few days ago when i went to move the rock... it moved. and these little things are all over my rocks. (looks like a leather coral to me) now.. this hole does go all the way through the rock, but the other sides opening is extremely small... and a few other holes in the rock feed into it... should i try to cut this guy out of there and move it to a better spot? or see if it comes through the other side??
