MrAnderson Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 Comparing someone to Hitler in the Western world is one of the gravest insults you can hurl at someone and just isn't ever cool, and actually there's still a pretty good chance that the person you're talking to might have had family members that were killed under the Nazi regime. So tell them they're stupid jerks, but don't tell them they're like Hitler! it's true, he was a horrible man. Link to comment

I'm sure you're too young to remember the Cold War, but our perceptions/information were very different then. At that time there was no direct reporting from China at all.
