I'm toying with the idea of starting a 10g prop, so this is especially interesting to me.

Thanks so much Weetabix. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the setup. That is a ric corner in the bottom right. It's becoming more and more of a crowded corner the longer I wait to frag them. I'll try to get a better shot, but here's part of them.

they are called eggcrate, they sell them at homedepot in the lighting section.

I have a 10g that's getting ready to be converted to a dedicated frag tank once I get the 90g up and running. Your tank is my blueprint buddy!

Al- I really appreciate it. Yes the lights are MH. The have a 150w halide and 2 65w PC actinics. For filtration I have an AquaClear 110 HOB filter full of LR and carbon. I also have 2 Maxi-Jet 400's on a wavemaker for extra movement.

Those zoas and micros both look very nice.

 

In what way do you think the addition of sand caused greater coloration in your corals?

 

Also, I know you've posted this in here somewhere, but that's alotta pages to go through, so can you just describe what light fixture you've got over this tank, what kind of bulb you use, whether you're satisfied with it and why?

 

I'm looking into other lighting options for my 10g prop.
