I thought this was an electronic ballast.?

Google "F-can", it's a magnetic ballast with the capacitor and ignitor all in one bundle. From some of the reading though, it sounds like it might fire DE bulbs. Check it out.

I've got one and it works great, but it did take about two weeks to get it.

I've got another on order and it's been 10 days since order confirmation. We'll see.

What about 150w ballasts?

EDIT: I know the bulbs are bigger, but I mean are there any fixtures like this that could accept a 150w bulb that I could wire a 150w ballast up to?
