Ratvan
So came around to a water change and quick clean today. I dont think that the airstone is a good idea, the area is encased with black sludge and have some really odd white snot floating around in the tank, I'll leave it up temporarily and hope that some of the equipment in the Spec 3 still works so I can get this up and running correctly. I should have a 50GPH pump as well as the Hydor Pico Evo, both might fit, might even prohibit the use of the heater within the tank 1 Quote Link to comment
Ratvan
So the first sacrifice to the Reef Gods is set to arrive on Tuesday. Alien Eye Paly (4 Heads), so zoas and Palys or a tank of P? Palys, Pavona and Psamacora? Oh my 2 Quote Link to comment
Ratvan
So changes Airstone is not wanted in Reef Jar. I've had it in for a week and its clogged with gunk already. Am currently trying it again with no airstone to see how it works. Heater not required in Reef Jar, Reefjar hits 33C (91.4) with heater set to 25.5C (78f) Rock to big for Reefjar, fits nicely in 5G Moved jar contents into 5G Cube (Yay - Cube Reef!) Re Done scape for Reefjar with 16mm drainage pipe, cable ties and dead coral. Need milliputting and making look like rock Once I motivate myself to go to the Office I can see what mini pumps I have that might work to replace the airstone New Scape in the Works One of the cats broke the lid sitting on it, i will sort that out Friday along with the Milliput (payday wooooo) F#cking love this Cube 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Rob Francis
Ive been looking at that one, Charterhouse stock them. Ideally Im looking for something with a removable gooseneck like a Kessil but smaller and cheaper! The lid for my 2 gallon has cost me a fortune, and I bet I get hit with customs charges too. I'll ask him about the tmc now. Cheers 1 Quote Link to comment
