A carpet of GSP now covers the right hand side of the back wall.  I'm monitoring it to make sure it doesn't get onto the powerhead but otherwise it looks really nice especially under the blue light.

 

Emerald crab is doing a great job eating back the bubble algae.

 

But I've got a large aiptasia head that my 2 peppermint shrimp have no interest in.  Considering aiptasia-X.

Ok I gotta tell ya, Aiptasia X works.

A squirt with the syringe of that toothpaste stuff right into the mouth of the aiptasia and it imploded, dissolved and was gone within an hour.

I'm a believer.

 

The Aiptasia had grown much more out of control than the photo above from last April  The large heads had multiplied into about 5 of them and small heads were everywhere.

Yesterday they all died.

Today the tank looks almost pristine, only a slight trace of wispy white hairs that used to be aiptasia tentacles.
