Nano Nano Boo Boo
Spongodes? Maybe? Quote Link to comment
specore
Not sure, but branching montis are beautiful and hardy. Nice pickup. And that's a fungia, not scoly. They are very cool and are one of the few stony corals which can move on their own. Scoly's are also known as donut coral...since they kind of look like a donut. And happy birthday! 1 Quote Link to comment

Can I get an ID? Also picked up a Scoly! Do you know what type it is? He is dead on, that’s a fungia plate. And it’s awesome, great color specs. Quote Link to comment

KW NANOREEF
Just went to the LFS just to find out that they were having a 20% everything sale, so I decided to finally pull the trigger on a flame angel! Spectacular fish and probably my favorite all time, right behind my lawnmower blenny of course. You guys got any tips? 1 Quote Link to comment
specore
Of the commonly available fish I think these guys are the most stunning. 2 Quote Link to comment

KW NANOREEF
OK guys I’m back! It’s been a couple weeks but is been hard to keep up with the forums with school, basketball, and of course, buying new corals. Just wanted to quickly update you with what is going on with the tank. First, I got a green torch from an LFS Quote Link to comment
KW NANOREEF
Terrible picture of the torch. but then I got in an order from Aqua SD, which was a chille pepper monti and a unicorn acro 1 Quote Link to comment
KW NANOREEF
And then the most recent corals I got were from a local reefer. This is a Cornbred Blue Monster Tort Plus a red Satosa and then there is a monti digi not open yet because he was freshly cut from the reefers mother colony 2 Quote Link to comment

A Little Blue
Nice additions you got there. Keep an eye on those montis from AQSD. They emailed me a while back that they had some "issues" with monti "bites". Quote Link to comment

I have suspected my nudis came in with an AquaSd monti, as it was the first monti in my tank to go with the nudis. Quote Link to comment

Email said that they couldn't ship my monti due to some visible "bites" on mother colony. They shipped one other monti tho. It seemed clean after dipping but it is still in my quarantine tank for observation. I can't take those chances and introduce worst pest (for montis) there is to my main tank. Quote Link to comment
