CSXC-1 Aquarium / Hydroponic Chiller Stay tuned for picture of installation.... I'm really curious to see how this works for you, I've never seen one quite like that. Do you just pump water through it in a closed loop? That's frustrating with the slow cycle. Since you're seeing nitrates rise now, a water change shouldn't be a problem, but you might wait one more day. 2 Quote Link to comment

Just a small powerhead in the sump in a closed loop. I will post a picture as soon as I get around to installing it! And Yes sir! I will wait one more day! 3 Quote Link to comment

blizzardscout2
The waiting is the hardest part. I didn't even mount my light so it wouldn't be a beacon to remind me of the agonizing wait. 2 Quote Link to comment
oogie
Ok! Exciting news for me! Nitrite has reached 0 3days ago, and did 70 percent water change. RBTA and Clownfish is in the tank~! I don't know which kind but there is an interesting story. Apparently, this random guy in Busan has tracked down and spend tons of time and money getting this clownfish. After year of searching, he finally got this one but when he put him in the tank, he bothered other clowns so he just gave it to LFS in Busan for some store credit. Well, its almost impossible to see this kind of clown in Korea, so I nabbed it up at incredible price of $15 US dollars! I will post a better pic of clown and RBTA once light comes on. Oh, and for ipad in the background.. I know this won't work, but I am showing him he supposed to go in to anemone! Hahaha More pics to come.... 9 Quote Link to comment

J-Ranko
Is that a photo or a video on the iPad? A video of a clown with the anemone might be more effective. 2 Quote Link to comment

oogie
Okay.... its been about 2 weeks... I have fierce Cyano attack. Anemone has been around the whole tank more then 5 times and finally settled. Thank goodness it settled on the spot I wanted. And of course, clown is still away from his home. When cyano gets under control, I will take more shots! 3 Quote Link to comment
oogie
Ok, its been a while. Anemone I had in my tank was just too big for my tank. It couldn't set its foot anywhere because rock work is just too small... It moved endlessly... So I gave it back to LFS for some store credit. So instead of anemone I got following corals. I also re-did the aquascape. Purple-Tip green Frogspawn Various Zoanthids rock Oranged-Tip Clover-Polyp More to come.... 7 Quote Link to comment

Ranjib
I love the empty spaces in your tank. I have my Biocube 29 somewhat like that, but my picos are kinda crowded. Its induces a sense of tranquility , 2 Quote Link to comment

Christopher Marks
How has your summer been going @oogie? Your final aquascape is really something special, the tonga rock 'stilts' are unreal. Such a cool way to embrace a bare bottom tank! It's too bad the anemone didn't work out but I think your new direction made for an even better result. Seeing some new growth in all the frags now that they're settled? 1 Quote Link to comment
