Loving them, much better coverage and color, plus I like the customizability. Tank suffered a bit of a setback over thanksgiving as the house lost power for about 12 hours one day when I was out of town, and I lost a couple sps, but it is doing better now. I may suction out some of the black sand and do a very shallow sand

Bed, as I feel it is accumulating detritus. I have also purchased another 1.1ml/min doser dosing Nopox .55ml q6 hrs

yea the coverage really starts to wane at the 18" of the Pico3

Anyone have any input on removing all of the black sand and replacing it with the entire bottom covered in the little square frag tiles? seems like way to go BB without a completely bare bottom

After letting my tank go to crap for a year (med school clinical rotations took up all my time) I have tried to overhaul it.

I removed all of the sand over the course of two weeks (by sucking it out as I was doing a 5 gal water change. Ended up taking me 5 times)

I bought an ecotech tank mount to clean up the overall look.

I also hooked up my radion and vortech to my apex and I am now running fusion.
