I'm not sure why I can't get crisp details in the iris' :( I'll have to try again another time

I think the DoF is shallow and focused in front of the iris in this shot. The surface reflection of the eye is in focus, but the iris is a bit behind the surface. Try focusing mid-way between the pupil and the whites of the eye.

Very pretty iris. At first I thought you had photoshoped flames into the image, but no, just amazing eyes.

Ive always wanted to play around with that. Is it user friendly? I know my way around Photoshop CS a little bit. I cannot wait to get a real camera but here is a shot from my point and shoot cannon powershot

I just realized that I rarely ever take a picture of a car that isn't moving.

I may be getting a new camera body sooner than expected, my 40D is acting up.

It's very user friendly compared to photoshop and it excels at helping you manage your work. I have over 10,000 photos saved on my hard drive and I can quickly find any of them thanks to lightroom.

I would love to join in, but I really haven't the time to put towards a 365 project. You'd think going to an art school for photography would help, but not with mine. :( Hopefully I'll be able to knock out a 365 project before I graduate eh? :P
