365 Day Photo Project

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, here we go. I'm sure you've all heard of the photo-a-day-for-a-year projects that many people have attempted/completed and here's a chance for you to try it yourself! Its really simple, all you have to do is take one photo every day for the entire year of 2013, starting today!

You can take pics of anything you'd like and post them up here, as long as they conform to the forum guidlines (no nudity or illegal activity allowed). You can choose to stick to one genre (macros, portraits, architecture, etc.), or a single subject (self-portrait, fish tank, landscape, etc.), or just shoot anything and everything!

Also, you can either post one pic each day, post batches at the end of the week or month, or at the end of the year, its your preference! Posting the pics in this main thread is perfectly acceptable but you may also start your own separate thread and I will add a list of links here.

Ready?

Set?

GO!

Just added a sigma 17-50mm 2.8 lens to the collection. Having a lens I really like should make the 365 thing a bit easier. Gonna have to start packing my cam everywhere again.

I'm using this project to better myself at 2 things... using my flash and my editing techniques. So some of my pictures will be re-edits of older pictures and some will be new.

My mask didn't work very well :( I might go back and try again at this one tonight.

No idea how that one came out when most of the other ones didn't. I did eventually realize that my off-camera flash cord was made for a Nikon, so it may be messing with the metering.

Pic #2

Finding the software to get pics off the camera and then onto the forum a challenge lol.

More of a learning curve, but a good curve.

Just upgraded my computer (omg, it runs photoshop so much faster!) so I'll get more pics up as I restore my photos from the backup drive.

Playing catch up.

My pics are about .15mb too large and now I am trying to find a way to reduce them but they are being reduced too much? " Sigh"
