The Tetons are absolutely gorgeous, I'd love to go back. Anyway, I will definitely have to pay a visit to Reef Wise. It's good to know there's something similar in quality to Midwest Coral Farms still in the area. One last question: I see that you added a BRS reactor to your system and are running it from underneath your tank. Are you using the included Cobalt MJ1200 pump? If so, do you find that it provides enough power to get water from the rear chamber of your tank into the reactor and back into the tank? Also, are you having any issues diverting water from the rear chamber, into the reactor and back (water level issues or otherwise)? Any reason you didn't consider one of the several new "nano" reactors on the market which drop directly in the rear chamber? The reason I ask is because I'm contemplating the identical setup to yours (although I'd probably run dual reactor chambers for carbon and GFO), but am skeptical if it would work. mpsti05 Posted April 16, 2013 Author Share Posted April 16, 2013 Yep I'm using the cobalt mj1200 and I'm pretty sure it's been powerful enough but lately I find it a pain to swap media since I put the reactor in the back of the tank so I may move it outside the stand or switch to something else. No issue with the water levels though. My fuge area is pretty large and I didn't want to shrink it with a reactor in there so that's why I choose to use the brs and mount outside the tank. I will Definitly switch to a dual with the next tank since ill have a sump. Link to comment

Neck pickup ssl-1, mid ssl-1 rw/rp, bridge ssl-5 custom. Sounds awesome I'm sure my neighbors love me!) anyway enough guitar talk, Nanobox fuge lite came in and damn this is awesome, all I did was give Dave an idea and he blew my expectations, it's so clean and perfect! Plugged it in and nearly blinded myself! Lol eating some lunch and ill post some pics of this beauty and my reef savvy tank! Link to comment

Simply out of curiosity i sent Dave a pm asking if he could make me something similar to the jbj nano glow except with 3blues and 2 red leds. So he took my small idea and ran with it... Its perfect for my application, 2 suction cups mounts, Slick case, Bright as all hell! I cant thank him enough. mpsti05 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Share Posted April 17, 2013 And here is the new tank, Reef Savvy 26"x24"x20" 3 sided starphire glass, Smoked grey glass back pane, External overflow drilled for 2 1" drains and 2 3/4" returns, 1 on each side of the overflow. hybrid weir cover. The tank is beautiful and huge! For now its going to hide at my dads house till me and my lady decide if were gonna stay in my condo or move. But when this gets setup ive got big plans. Sps galore and zoas and a few lps. In due time, Lots of planning and making a custom sump and stand. If i dont sell or rent out my condo and move i'll be setting it up in the fall or late summer. Link to comment

Now this freakin hair algae shit will be the death of me. Going to give raising the mag back up to 1600-1800 and keep it there. Plus waiting on the doser! Link to comment
