The wag I understand it is that the internal reflectors on the led bulbs make the use of a shade meaningless, since light is only pointed downwards the reflectors are like a mini internal shade, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's right, someone else can jump in if they want to correct or affirm my comment. I have an ac70 on the way that I'm going to fuge mod. As for the light it looks really blue in all the photos but they look amazing in person. I just have crappy cameras :-P Link to comment
