Builder Anthony
A few new acans. Damaged acan very small was free and now producing tissue over skeleton. Odd acan perhaps boderbanki spreading tissue 1 week Acan with 9 heads and green center 6 weeks from single head Rainbows were fraged for a trade but needs new plug since it was cut in half White tentical was received as a trade for 3 plugs covered in green palythoa and I like the odd colors. Yellow center purple rim got today 4 frag orange center rectangle got today http://s1210.photobucket.com/user/boulderopalhunter/media/20140904_203512_1.jpg.html][/url] My experience with acans. You want a fresh cut all the way around the acan or as much as possible. The fresh cut sides shoot out ilament tentacles thew the pores which become new heads.Feed those baby heads and you will have a healthy plug.this is what was done with the plug with heads all the way around.and basicly what I go by to grow them out.kessil with atomic blue 18 hours on with 4 hours mixed in with 4 hours natural sunlight...feedings every 3 or days.every 2 days would probaly even be better but I let them poop. Photo above is today Photos below 2 days ago 1 Quote Link to comment

Builder Anthony
Very small detail paintbrush works well for removing algae from zoas. Palythoa grand is brown strips indicate its health with dark brown stripes signaling health.Coral will shed these stripes when not doing well and regain them in good conditions. Quote Link to comment
