camerinero
Hi!!! I've been reading this forum in the shade for some time and now I have decided to show my new project I have begun assembling this weekend and still not finished, of course! The display is a Blau aquarium (29g) with a sump (14g) and the furniture DIY. The back side is painted black. I wanted the plumbing was very quiet and Igot it!!! In the sump I have a 3g tank for the automatic level controller: A pic of the overflow and the "eductor" (I don´t know how you say in english, sorry): Lighting is one of the most important components of a reef aquarium... I decided that the Maxspect LED 60w it´s enough: I have more than 10 pounds of live rock (Fiji) and a pair of corals from my old aquarium (R.I.P.): I'm thinking of a way to install a refugium but i don´t know how!!!! There is no place to do it (I´ll remove the UV filter, up side) any idea???: I have not ready my Canon camera, so next week I'll upload more pictures. I hope you liked it and sorry for my forgotten english Greetings from Spain Link to comment
Rehype
Great looking tank! Here you could install this refugium in your sump. Link to comment
camerinero
It looks greate but the shiping to Europe is so much expensive... Im thinking to use a TupperWare or something like this. Thank you! Link to comment
Rehype
Yeah shipping would be way too expensive. But drilling holes in a piece of tupperware would accomplish the same goal. Link to comment

camerinero
Yesterday I arrived very late from work to home and I couldn´t finish ... Some pics of the light (I made a hole with mi Dremel): The bulb is 8w of power and the nano-refugium about one gallon.I supouse it´s enought, isn´t it??? I'm thinking to paint it black because I want the algae grow in the refugium, not in all sides of my sump. And the pump now is ready This is the overflow DIY!!! I don´t now how you say in english this type of, sorry. In spanish we say "DURSO": Link to comment

camerinero
My house has four floors and the aquarium is in the lowest, in the cellar, between the garage and garden. This room has a constant temperature of 20ºC year-round. The room looks like with my new aquarium: I put the aquarium a week ago and I have NH4 levels a bit high. The few corals that I have not open at all and the rock is white (no coralline algae) It still gives me a little ashamed to upload photos (the aquarium isn´t very pretty yet): Two weeks later levels will be correct and I will go to Madrid to buy new frags . This afternoon I will try to upload more pix... Bye Link to comment
