Those pictures are incredible. Hows everything going?

Thanks!

How's the foot man?

That's too bad you laid the bike down but it could definitely be worse! Tank looks rad. Great shots as well. NEW FTS!

The tank isnt ready for a new fts at the moment :D

Overall im healing fine, got the cast off my wrist 2 weeks ago, this past weekend was my first days without wearing that annoying boot for my foot, almost all the road rash is gone, but injuries i didnt notice at first like my shoulder and abs (which didnt hurt at all compared to my foot or my arm) are the ones that are bugging me the most. but all in all... its all good

i cant believe this is only a 29g, it looks like the 125g cube at my LFS....that branchis going to look AMAZING once it gets its grow out. following this build along :D

thanks a lot, I still need to adjust some things, and im thinking another 5-7lbs of liverock would do the trick ... and I just want that branch to be COVERED in coral ... itll take time I know ... but I want it now :D

So after much thought and consideration ....

I've decided that I am not happy at all with the way this tank turned out.

The branch is hard to light

My light isn't strong enough for that height of tank

Im starting to think the branch looks awkward no matter where I put it.

Not happy with the growth im seeing

its loud ...

the list goes on

not to mention neglecting my 5.5

overall ...

just I know I can do better

so I am now in the market for 10-15 cube:

plans:

cube:

-75watt MH (from 5.5) and rig the 2 powerbrites

-HOB fuge mod (chemipure and cheato)

-mp10 es

-diy ato

and lots of water changes!

going real basic here

get rid of the 29

BRINGING BACK THE 20L!

frag tank:

-move to garage

-24" sundial t5

-same sump and stand as used before and with the 29

-same ato

what do you guys think?

I think you should do what makes you happiest with your tank. I always did like the 20L. Just be careful with moving all this stuff around too much. Might not be good for the fish and corals.

TBH, ive had a 29 before, not a fan of the dimesions. You do what you like, but i was happier in a 20l than a 29, and cant wait for my 40b B), Something about too tall tanks, is more for freshwater imo.

nice stuff you got there

I know, Ill be taking my sweet time, this is the first tank in the past 2 years ill be able to set up while not in the middle of moving... so Ill have plenty of time to fix any kinks before things get up a running.

I agree, I keep picturing an angel fish and tetras in that tank
