Is it true that the mame is very quiet? Thanks Espresso! Yes it is quite after you get it tuned in... I made a Silencer for it that looks basically like the one you buy from Mame... reeftankguy Posted February 14, 2011 Author Share Posted February 14, 2011 I finished merging both my NC6 Shrimp tank and CAD12g Acanz tank into the ADA 46P... Everything went flawlessly well! I also found my YWG when moving rock from my CAD12, Thought he was eaten by my Maxi-Mini... He was fat so I guess he was eating the mysis/brine I was feeding the acanz and Maxi... Link to comment

I havent cleaned it yet. When that sump was on my 55G I never had to clean it because these holes in it are pretty big... Havent changed a thing. I'm even running both the In and Out valves all the way open so I want to say the Mame can handle over 180gph because the MJ 3000 is rated at 500 GPH at 4’ head Link to comment
