The tank was a custom built tank. Not sure how i came up with the dimientions but its 35cm*25cm*25cm with a 7cm rear chamber added to the back

 

Here are some pics of the tank when it arrived

I then purchased some Live rock which looked like this...

and as i was waiting for it to be made i had a play around with the live rock and came up with this

lookin pretty solid.... thx for the progression pics....

i suggest you keep them all.....your tank has the possibility of being a NTOTM,,,,

some pics of the rear chambers would be great as well

 

also, a list of equipment being used would be great

Okay so what is the plan for the rear chambers besides the return pump?

 

The rear chambers hold:

 

chamber 1 - Heater

chamber 2 - Skimmer and RefresH20 filtration balls

chamber 3 - Return pumps and ATO

Lights - 2 18w PL (upgrading to 2 par38 bulbs when they arrive in the post)

circulation - Return pump (1000lph), and Koralia nano (1000lph i think)

ATC - 800

Waiting for 2 par38 bulbs to arrive from nanocustoms.

 

I've made this pole and holders for them to sit in.

Does the pole have height adjustment or will you have to cut it?

 

Yeah i can adjust it up and down.

They were sent from LA airport 2 weeks ago and still no sign :-( they were posted with 5 days shipping but i think the iceland volcano might have messed things up

what ATO?

 

How do you like your spray bar?

 

You run any additives?

What is your maintenance schedule?

 

Its an Aqua-Medic Niveaumat SP3000. i have it on a timer so it becomes "live" for 3 sets of 15 minutes a day.

I don't dose any additives. I sometimes dose phyto but ive ran out.

Maintenance - 1-2L water change every 1-2 weeks, clean glass every few days. Feed LPS every week frozen or flake
