If a fish dies YOU should be the one to offer a free fish. he should not have had to ask in the first place. Yes, LA offers 14 days, and charges accordingly. No, 2 hours is my normal guarantee. He didn't pay extra for anything. He paid $17.50 for 2 clown fairy wrasses, both of which died under his care. Don't know why. OK, so I should just replace anyone whose fish dies. Ever? who's going to pay for that? All the people who don't kill their fish, that's who. The only way anyone offers guarantees is to build extra margins into their fish prices. Fish die. It happens. Believe me, LA or anyone else isn't replacing fish out of the goodness of their hearts. They've already been paid for these replacements in their prices. Compare my prices with anyone else that offers extended guarantees. And nobody on MR who's been to my place, and seen my setup, has anything bad to say about me or my fish. FYI Mr. Stern fish usually die from stress..... stress caused from shipping...and both his fish died within 48hrs of arrival. Yes. if its not their fault. and quite frankly, it was not Rockfishes fault. Fish die...yes...but usually DURING shipping. well that might be your take on it but sure isnt mine. your the one defending your faulty believe. I've seen plenty of Ebay sellers that have at least 6hr guarantees with the same prices as you Mr. Stern 2 hrs quite frankly isn't enough time to observe anything about a fish. Not according to the members of MR that i know... seems like Fishtown is very popular. Link to comment
