Scripps is awesome, iirc with rkl u can program a water change and feeding mode so you dont need the american dj stuff . Pics look great also, you got a good girl taking care of your stuff

quick update:

-moved the tank from my girlfriends house to my house

-set up the RKL

-made control station out of a kitchen cabinet that also houses my ATO reservoir

-made a new light mounts that raises the AI's and allows me to run them long ways for more tank coverage

very happy with the out come, ill take pictures later

Damn man, nice growth on those zoas. Waiting on some more pics

Thanks! That was all my GF for the past 4 months! and I just finished a photo shoot, I'm going through them right now

Nice growth! That green Rhodactis is really cool :)

Thank Yoshii, I love that rhodatis too! I've never seen one like it before, but it grows really quick, every 2 months it seems like I have 4-8 more'

What are these and how can i buy/trade for some off you?

Socal said it!

and the zippers need some time to grow before I frag em. the tangerines I could frag, I'm letting the system settle in before I do any cutting. Im currently looking for some scans, in a month or Id be willing to do a trade!

Pink Zippers and Tangerines.

yup

your laptop is helping run you system?

not really, I have a few excel programs I set up so i can graphs the results from the test, its actually pretty nice though, all i have to do is write down the drops of the reagents for the Mg, Ca, Alk and it gives me the ppm for them without having to do any of the math. It also nice to see a visual representation of the parameters over time. Im a research scientist and Im just used to keeping track of things this way

There is also a calendar that set up for maintenance and what not

params now that everything is settled in:

temp 79.2

pH 8.33

alk 201ppm

Ca 350ppm

Mg = 1250ppm

NH4 0ppm

NO3 0 ppm

NO2 0 ppm

PO4 = 0.1ppm

I need to get the Ca and the Mg up a little, buts that because I didn't dose last week while the tank was settling. Now its back to business as usual

I had this issue. Try getting the whites over the blues then control the colors in photoshop. You'll see sharper, more n focus shots yet u can control WB & colors in PSraw.

Nice though! Lol

Those lights are pretty high. Why not put them lower and turn down the intensity?

Nice pics too!

I thought they were too close to the tank when set it up after I got back, I thought Id try raising them higher too how it looked/ things reacted, we'll see how it goes I might get a smaller spacer

Crazy ass setup. Dual sols.

thanks! it seems to be working pretty well
