cuboy
I ended up with the Canon XSi. Just purchased. I am a little sketchy from this online retailer, but for $556, I could not resist. Hope everything goes smoothly, if not I will have a rather long phone bill. http://www.us1photo.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=5822 Link to comment

jeremai
Hope you used PayPal just in case. Good prices, though. Link to comment
cuboy
I used my CC. I think my CC company will do a better job at getting my money back than paypal. there's a lot of good reviews, a lot of bad reviews, and a lot of mediocre reviews (takes a lot of time and effort to get what you ordered). Hopefully I'm a lucky one and it's a good review. Link to comment
05XRunner
they will be calling you I bet trying to sell you the "other" things you need. Like the battery charger, the battery and things like this at an inflated price. for things that come with the camera. I would cancel that order and order from a legit place like BH, adorama, sigma4less, amazon Link to comment
cuboy
yeah if they haggle me, I will definately be cancelling. Just hoping they will just ship my item. It was $80 cheaper, and definately worth a shot. Link to comment
Withers
$80 isn't much to save considering the risk you're taking imo. I would definitely cancel and order from Amazon or BH or adorama. Link to comment
disaster999
the prices for memory cards is a complete rip off! 4gb sandisk extreme III for $79? i bought mine for under $27 Link to comment
cuboy
so they cancelled my order. didn't try contacting me to sell more extra add ons. just a straight up out of inventory cancellation. I can respect tgat. time to go looking for another sale Link to comment
05XRunner
It was probably canceled because they most likely got busted Link to comment
cuboy
I purchased it from Abes of Maine for $616.95 plus an additional $15.67 back from Live Search. Link to comment

PufferButt
Wow, almost had a heart attack when I first saw that XSI price. I would have bought a second one if the deal had been real. I'd go with a Canon all the way. Nikon is great but I'm a Canon person. Love my XSI and would highly recommend it. You can now get a Canon XTi in the $400 price range if you were looking for something a bit cheaper than the 450d. Link to comment
05XRunner
there is also the Canon XS Link to comment
cuboy
I would take the XTi over the XS for $40 cheaper. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_po...0d&show=all it's slightly similiar. XTI has 9 point AF, XS has 7, but the XS has live view. Link to comment
reefpets.com
I have a Canon Xti and think its great! The photo quality is nice and I think its easy to use. Link to comment
