and funky rabbit...don't recall having seen that before...surprising as much as i've been there.

 

 

and hdr christmas trees are always good :)

 

 

 

 

 

ummm...legally? buy full version, use tone compression setting, or cloning tool :)

Your stuff is awesome too for sure. :P

 

But I definitely like the subtlety of this HDR.

Well...As much as it's in my blood to purchase a DSLR, it's just not in the budget. So, I've been really wanting to play around with some HDR to see what it's all about. So, I hacked my Canon A540 with the CHDK and have been experimenting with shooting RAW for the first time and using the demo of Photomatix. I don't really understand all the settings yet. Here's my first attempt. Critique welcome.

 

Used "painterly" preset, did not have tri-pod so there is some ghosting.

Oh hey, that does look a painting. :)

I need to mess around some more because so far, if I use the "natural" preset, the HDR doesn't come out discernibly different than than just shooting in JPEG. :mellow:
