The reason why he has the tubes before the fans is because he has the chiller in that box he made. the tubes help direct the hot air away from the unit - out and away. If he just put fans it would be blowing hot air into that box he made, and that would not fare so well. I have just one question: Why are you using an external overflow? With a tank so customized and so well though out- Wouldn't it be easier and more reliable to just drill it? (Ps. this is not a criticism, I am genuinely curious) Link to comment
