Zer0
Yeah that deep blue isn't exactly 100 bucks.. but it is more in the range of 50-60 dollars. I have the 10x10x10 version of that exact tank and it was 35 bucks. They are really nice though, and the black silione makes them look really nice. I think you've just convinced me to paint the back black. Link to comment
JR!
The black back makes a huge difference imo I'd do it if I were you. O and I need help picking a light fixture for the boost par 30. Pics of the 3 to pick from soon Link to comment

Builder Anthony
The only thing is all those lamps are steel and will rust. Link to comment
CLR
The only thing is all those lamps are steel and will rust. Ya that steel will rust, I'm not sure if the boost fixture is aluminium but I'm sure that it will be better manufactured to handle the rusting, u could always try to find a painted fixture Link to comment
JR!
humm well i didnt think of that. glad that i posted. i have seen other people use that type of fixture before. i wonder if they have the same issue. Link to comment
Zer0
Most certainly not lamp #3 lol Link to comment
Kylebeano
option 2 I use this one, with a vise style base and no shade, and it hasnt rusted yet (several months of use). It works fine. But, if boost's arms were out when I bought my par30, I just would have just purchased it from them. Link to comment
MiketheBarb3r
I'm new to salt as well, but I like where this thread is going, are u gonna stay rimless? Can these tanks be made into an aio unit as well? Link to comment
