I tried doing a video review... Then I discovered I completely suck at narration. Moral of the story is, TLF's "Julian's Thing" is the best feeder I have used yet.

While sometimes a little awkward because of it's overall length (which is necessary to use because of my tank's depth) it sure as hell beats the large syringe I had been using to target feed (with my arms in the water up to my shoulders). The long extendable turkey baster thing I bought way back when has been reduced to being an expensive pointing stick that I use to explain "colored thingies" in my tank.

Assembly was pretty easy. If you have difficulty putting things together, put the clean vinyl tubing in some hot water for a few seconds, and they'll become nice and pliable.

^That plastic thing inside the vinyl tube prevents solid foods from going beyond the first piece. Almost works with foods as small as cyclopeeze... But at the very least slows the vacuuming up of even liquid foods.

Ever have a tree crack in your yard and look to be about to crush your neighbors house? Oh yeah. $1500 gone just like that. :owned:

If I wasn't afraid of the VA amputating my leg for spraining an ankle should I fall from a tree, I feel like I would have been better off spending the money on a nice new Husqvarna chainsaw (or two) and a new extension ladder.

Here's my neighbor. I swear, he's the most photogenic man I have ever seen. This is his "OMG my house is about to be crushed" face.

This wood chipper can eat a 17 inch diameter log. WANT.

Oh and, this is my neighbor's "really ####ing amazed" look.

Homie just threw a 200 lb log in the chipper. He don't give a what what.

K, back to fish tank. JPEG, no editing... Sometimes a tripod. Couldn't get the right white balance today... Don't know what was up with that. Also, forgot to shut off pumps, and because the vortechs are chopping up bubbles from the waterfall... yeah. It's ugly.

Shooting under just the BoostLED Mu blue/UV LEDs. ...Maybe... for the last time... ever... :ninja: :ninja:

Took all the new frags off the racks and found them homes on the scape. Most look happy and will be staying where they are permanently with one exception... The big sunset monti looks pissed. I think it wants to be blasted with water.

Three favia on the left... The bigger one has been neglected, buried in the sand a few times, bumped around by the old fighting conch... But still showing no signs of stress. Wish all my coral were as tough as this.

Acans finally starting to look happier. Thanks to "Julian's Thing" they'll be getting direct feedings a lot more often. Below them are some paly's that I got from Kat.

Supposed to be pink... Doesn't show up that great under blue lights though.

Thought this was a GARF Bonsai when I picked it out at the swap... Guess I should have looked closer. -_- I really want one of those. Boo.

Kat, your branch has been demoted to the fuge. Don't worry, purple stuff grows down there too. ;)

D- tell me what this is and how to take care of it. Pretty please. I thought it was a chalice (and Coralgasm can't tell you what the frags they're selling are), but it's edges are soft and blow around a tiny bit in the current.

In the center of the photo below... is an acan skeleton covered in coraline from my old Mr Coral order... Looks like the acan is trying to make a comeback. Tiny little orange bits are showing up. I will now quit throwing out skeletons.

Gobies have been playing musical pistol shrimp burrows. Different pairs every day, everyone switching places constantly.

Everytime I have myself convinced that I like the nanos the best, I will see a reef like yours and I appreciate the big reef tanks all the more.

What are the pink and teal acans posted towards the top? Do they have a commercial name like "Pink Fluffers" or something of the such?

Well, the theme of the tank is "nano"... So it's not like most 90's with 4 big fish and half a dozen big pieces of coral.

...And I don't know the names of most of my frags, most certainly not the acans by color.

o hai mr box full of goodies... :ninja: :ninja:

You almost got me fired with your captions of your neighbors face..... I am still laughing as I type this. Maybe I need to not read your thread at work.
