Whats your lighting like? I cant quite tell from the picture. I have the same tank (well an ebi, but its the exact same tank as the flora, it just comes with different accessories) and Im trying to light it right now

I'm debating a par 38 bulb, or maybe an eheim power led, theyre cheaper and look nice, but I think not quite as good as the par 38. Or maybe diy. I spend 10 hours a week reading lighting threads and cant narrow it down.

I am running a Rapid LED kit. 4 royal blue and 2 cool whites. I have to say I am very pleased with it and have been experiencing great growth. I was gonna do a PAR bulb but I am glad I went this route

Ah, nice. Ive been debating them. How do you have it mounted to your tank? It looks like its on an arm? And did you just use one of their black heatsinks, or did you retrofit another light you had maybe?

for now it is just resting on the lid. i did the solderless kit so it is sitting on the connections, not directly on the LEDS. I used their black heatsink. it has a nice groove down the center which I plan to utilize when making a mount for it eventually

How are the SPS holding up ? Are you dosing anything or just relying on water changes ?
SPS are absolutely flourishing. They all are encrusting like crazy and my milli has sprouted 4-5 new branches. I'll post pics later on. I don't dose. Just do water changes with Red Sea coral pro and feed some DTs phytoplankton here and there

Seeing SPS have growth like that in nano's like that makes me want to start one up so bad. Would you recommend the RapidLED lights ?

Lovely tank! What kind of acro is that? The top-right one.

thank you! It's coming along quite nicely, I'm not positive I rescued it from certain death from one of the LFS here in town. Had dead spots and algae all over it. I just call it a green tip acro lol

I just picked up a cool new acro, and it had a very cool little hitchhiker. A Tetralia crab! (Tetralia nigrolineata) It's literally smaller than a pinhead, this is what it looks like though (not my photo)

Great photography up in here. Love the tank too. :)
Thank you! I'm still getting used to photographing tanks with LEDs but am pretty well seasoned when it comes to dry land lol
