Current setup 9/12/11 -

  • Mr. Aqua 7.5
  • DIY LED lighting - 8 x RB CREE XP-E, 4 x NW CREE XP-G, 2 x CW CREE XP-E, powered by a Mean Well ELN-60-48P
  • DIY Arduino lighting controller with simulated seasonal sunrise/sunset and lunar phase dimming
  • Two Hydor Koralia Nano 240s
  • MP10
  • Glass-Holes.com Super Nano Overflow Kit + 1/2 Inch Return Kit
  • 10G AGA DIY sump
  • Rio+1700 return pump
  • Eshopps PSK-75H Skimmer
  • Eheim Jager TruTemp 50 Watt Heater
  • Tom Aquatics Aqua-Lifter Dosing Pump for DIY auto top-off
     
  • I dose 1.5ml of Brightwell Aquatics MicroBacter7 once a week and add 1/2 Tsp of table sugar every other day.
  • My auto top-off reservoir is filled with 1gallon of RO, 2 Tbs of Pickling Lime, and 2 Tbs White Vinegar
     
  • I feed New Life Spectrum Marine Pellets once or twice a week to the anemone, crabs, and LPS. I also dose 1 vial of Prodibio Reef Booster Nano once a week. My only fish refuses to eat any prepared foods and lives solely off of pods.

 

 

 

 

 

Ok so here we go again!

New Hydor Koralia nano x2

DIY led light

Maybe an AC70 fuge or a Tunze skimmer haven't decided.

dam that looks nice.. i love the look of rimless tanks and those LEDs look nice.. is your sand a little gray or is that just me?? i also like the scape you got set up... cant wait to see what your gonna stock it with

Yep Seachem Grey Coast sand.

 

Did you paint the back or just cover it? Those rimless tanks are nice. :happy:

I painted it with a few coats of black spraypaint.

I just added the first cleanup crew today and they went strait to work cleaning up the algae. I also added a super bright orange Flower Anemone that I was lucky enough to snag from Sealifeinc. it was only $25 bucks!! The thing puts the color day-glow orange to shame.

I had to come and check out your tank thread :) That looks awesome!!! Love the rock work, the tank, and the light...and the coral too! Love it all :)

Multi-headed Duncan frag

Lime green Pocillopora frag

Small Palythoa frag

Ricordia colony

 

 

OK, so everything is in the tank and working on getting happy. Sadly it looks like I'm going to have to do some major re-aquascaping to accommodate the 5"x4" rock that the ricordea is on.
