nanomilk
I have a softie and LPS dominated tank and am hoping to get a centrepiece clam. Something about 6inches long. Anyway... it will be snugly fit into a "valley" i have made with heaps of light. My question is what corals can I have in near proximity to the clam? Will zoo's or blastos be a problem? ezcompany
blastos won't be a problem. zoos won't be a problem, as they will grow around it. ask Fridmani, if you see his tank, he has a beautiful clam surrounded by zoos, very beautiful. Link to comment

The Propagator
Zoos will grow onto the shell, blasto feeders MAY sting the mantel ( i think I read that here along time ago? some where any ways?) Ricordea will attach to the shell. Millepora ( fire coral ) will stinng it. Hamers and torches may as well. Open brain sweepers can sting it. Hydnopora sp can sting it......... I don tknow about the rest. Link to comment
