jane of baden
How many nonphotosynthetic, filter-feeding clams are there? Like jewelbox clams, Mercinaria campenchienses, etc......... Various clams keep appearing in my tank so it's be nice to know at least what sort MIGHT be appearing so I can care for them. They pop out of nowhere, literally. I just found one about 2" long, with a green foot.... sticking to a rock. I've never seen it before, and my tank is 10 g, and I inspect everything that I put in it. Every cup of sand, every rock. Completely mysterious... as usual. Ah, uncured rock! I only posted here because most people dont know very much about nonphotosynthetic clams. Link to comment
