Caesar777 Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Central bleaching is caused by light shock, and can be shipping stress. I've seen clams "brown out", only to see their color return by dipping them daily in DT's for a week. Stress can cause them to purge their zooxanthellae like any coral would; the key is lighting and calcium/alk balance. Link to comment
