KMitch
Hey Fishstick-- Did you do something like this? http://www.voltageconverters.com/itemdesc....3D1F}&ic=GS1000 I am looking to buy my parts from nanocustoms.com and convert my 6g hood into what you are wielding there. You cant beat the price! K Link to comment
planotexas
Just get: http://nanotuners.nanocustoms.com/nanotune...ex.php?cPath=25 I used that on my fans and I could turn the speed up and down. When I spoke to Chris about slowing my fans down, he suggested this. The fans arent terribly loud, but i have the tank in the study, so the less noise the better. Just plugged that puppy in and problem solved! HTH Tex Link to comment

KMitch
Fishysticky- I got Chris's AC adapters online, as well as all my other parts. I am going to head to home depot to get some 16 gauge wire and wire nuts. Any other supplies you needed besides MT. Dew? I am going to try to take pics as I do it and if it works I will post those. Let me know if there was anything else you used that I should probably know about! Kristen Link to comment
Fish Stick
Mt. Dew is an essential! The only other thing I had was electrical tape. Good luck can't wait to see your progress! Link to comment

KMitch
http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58771 HOLY Cow--- Yeah I dont have the time/ effort/ money to do all that but it looks pretty sweet. How about any simplier mods to the NC6? Anyone else add the 3.18 nanocustoms mod and have pics? How about skimmers besides the fission? Link to comment
Fish Stick
Not as crazy as oogies! But here is my thread for the tank I started working on in December. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=74739 Link to comment
KMitch
Hey Fishstick- I got my lights installed and made the same stupid mistake and cooked my LEDs--- FYI for anyone doing the Nanocustoms light upgrade: Its a piece of cake but dont attach 15V to your LEDs. Anyway, while I replace those.... what fans did you upgrade to? My water is definately cooler with the extra lights by about 1-2 F but these fans are loud. I want to change up my fans but am curious what kind you used. Thanks Link to comment
