sheen
I've been posting in the lighting section regarding this issue... am thinking of getting my first clam, and have picked out the squamosa because of its less stringent lighting requirements. The tank is 20H with 130W PC (2 12K bulbs), and one 28W T-5 NO with one 10K and True Actinic. Was wondering if I should upgrade to a T-5 HO system (looking at the Current USA Nova Extreme 4x24W fixture), or would my lighting be sufficient for the squamosa? I have heard success stories with them, with PC lighting, but just wanted to find out what everybody thinks. What about the placement? On the substrate? Or closer to the top? Much thanks in advance! Wiggawam
Start at the top and slowly move him down and watch him closely to see how he responds, it should be doable. Link to comment
