Good quality parts. While you're inquiring about reflectors, look into suitable glass shielding to save the 46 million questions about UV shielding that will pop up Link to comment
Perpetual98
I just need a good deal on the ballast. I've got the bulbs already. Link to comment

Lingwendil
I'm in for the buy if 2 x 18w PC Retro Kit @ $35.95 is available, but how would a group buy work?I mean, like, shipping-wise? Link to comment
EtOH_is_good
good choices. i'll do it. Link to comment
Casabubu
ya, id rather see the coralife 2*18 for $35 like what you posted in the other thread. Link to comment
Casabubu
oh wait it was the retro kit for $35 Link to comment
Reefgeek
Agreed, I'd be in for a 2x18 watt retro. That seems a bit steep for 1x18, even if the price comes down. This kit: 2 x 18 watt retro Link to comment
Casabubu
thats cool, but id rather have something with an actinic bulb and a 10k bulb. Link to comment
bluebastion
That PC fixture does come with moonlights though (maybe even a fan)... so consider that with pricing. Link to comment
Casabubu
Heres a 2*18 watt fixture for $50 http://www.thatpetplace.com/Products/KW/F5...4/Itemdy00.aspx Link to comment
guppy
I would be in for the 2x18 watt fixture Link to comment
driftfc
im all for the mh even if the price doesn't drop much. Link to comment
WAH?
I'll hop on for a MH or two, provided you can get reflectors and UV glass on the deal. Probably not going to compete though, don't really want another 2.5... Link to comment
doncb
The problem I see w/ the proposed light for the Basic is the size. The AGA tank is 12x6. The CurrentUSA Light is 13x6 (& no fan). So it's going to hang over the sides (looks goofy). The Coralife 2x9 is 12x6 and besides it is on sale @ Drs F&S for $23.99. BTW: The 2x18 in the link looks good too. (18w /gal. Clam City!! :D ) Link to comment
Snoop
I dont think tyhat would be enough though Link to comment
Tigahboy
What about the Aqua Medic Ocean Light 70w set-up? I know nanocustoms got a whole bunch of these in stock as well. Link to comment
oogie
Thanks for all the input. We are working on 70W MH retro deal. Now for 2x18 retros you guys are talking about, we can certainly do it but it would have to be also for custom cat since it will require building and modding a hoof put them in. Let me know, Link to comment
