New member + cycling fatigue

Thank you to everyone who assisted me in entering this hobby. I’ve been bumbling along, some successes, some failures. Thought I’d provide a tank update:
 

I’m in love with my new makeshift refugium. I’ve just checked nitrate and phosphate after 2 weeks of no water changes but 12 hours a day of light on my chaeto. My water is actually slightly -cleaner- than it was back then. Appreciate any comments, will keep you posted.
