Atul0405
Hi, i just bought one clownfish about 4 days ago, and i'm new to the hobby so i'm not sure about his behaviour. For the first three days he would swim just fine at the center of the aquarium right up near the glass, but now he's taken to a corner and is staying there. He is eating very well, and my water parameters are in check, although ammonia may be a little high. Here are my parameters: ammonia: .25 pH: 8.1 nitrite 0 nitrate: <5 temp 77-78 salinity: 1.024 He doesn't seem lethargic, just staying in a corner and swimming at a slight tilt. Any advice? I attached a pic below Quote Link to comment
Zer0
There shouldn't be any ammonia. That being said, clowns in particular do like to find a comfortable place and then stay around it. Four days is still pretty new to the tank, so I wouldn't worry about it. It will take some time before it gets comfortable with the entire tank. Quote Link to comment
