Okay we go. This might be a little longer than normal, but I am getting really close to adding water.

First off I have completed my last test and will be using the following for keeping the water clear and phosphates lower. Since I will not be having any fish in here as I decided on a invertebrate tank I have removed the protein skimmer from my list and added these cool bags so that I can add the correct amount of Rox 0.8 carbon and high capacity gfo. In looking at the cost it will be less then 1.00 for either Rox, GFO and the bag, so I can just remove them and through it away and replace with new.

I have some of the new inverts coming next week and will be going into the IM30 for quarantine. I have almost all the coral for this tank and all of them are doing really well. One coral actually has added another head. I will post pics of these when they go into the tank as I do have a plan on there placements.

Here is a picture of the test fitting of tank and electrical equipment placement.

New rock added for coral placements.

And finally here are some of the equipments placements in the rear chamber.

I will upload a few more later over the weekend as give an update on my power backup plan.

Today I have placed my order for Dr Tim's One & Only as well as I put 16 of these ceramic balls in my IM30L that have been running for a year. If I leave them in there for 30days that should be enough time for the bacteria to colonies and should help in the cycle process.

I will remove the balls out of the bags once I put them in there new place as I just wanted and easy way to transfer them from one tank to another.

My new inverts arrived yesterday and well not everything arrived in the condition I was hoping for. First off the coral shipment was damaged and not sure if it will survive at all. Second one of the tiny Sexy Shrimp arrived DOA and I did not notice it right away and when I put the three of them and the bloody red shrimp in he found it immediately and decide it was time for a treat. Ever watch the movie Gone in 60 seconds? well this was 4 seconds.

Now I am waiting for salt to be back in stock as I do not have enough to keep both systems up and running without an additional bucket or two.

There were some water still in the bag, not sure if it was enough - Fireworks Glove polys for testing after cycle and water change

Currently all of them are doing fine today. The coral not so much, so we will see if I can doctor it back to life 😱😷

We have finally got all the electrical completed for both new builds, but some times over engineering things comes back to bite you in the a$$. In one of the above pictures I had planes to add a macro algae display between the 20g and lower fireplace but I did not give enough room for hands to get into it as well as a light so I had to scrap it. Then the other idea I had did not work out as well. This was a 10g ATO in the back (out of sight). I could not get it to work either, water was stopped in time, but I could not get the water to automatically shut off. Just place a order for a 40g container and waiting for it to arrive.

So on Friday night I received a email that a fish that I have been waiting for has finally came back into stock, thanks to @farkwar for making a recommendation for one on these unique fish. Will arrive this coming up Friday.

I will be adding a yellow goby and a green striped gobies to this, but they are not unique and is always in stock. Which brings me to another issue. All the other livestock (fish) will not work well with this one so I need to create a pico instant tank. So Saturday I purchase this unit from Petco for $49.

Light is perfect for fish and invert acclimated, but not good for anything else.

New pico is ready for it new arrival.
