So when they were on this morning, I just sat down and stared at the tank. 1 Quote Link to comment

It's just a little 10g frag tank I setup. It's getting replaced with a 20g long today. My wife shut me down on getting another light for the I needed a place to put some frags since my rack is full and my sand bed is looking the same. Hoping to do some rearranging to make room/clean up the tank today. After my quick battle with dinos, realized I had several dead spots. Still have my Reefbreeders RP-M sitting in it's box so going to put that in after I rearrange. 2 Quote Link to comment
5*Chris
Just noticed the growth on my acros. Not sure if it's good growth or slow growth since I'm new to acros. But I do enjoy visually seeing the difference in 1 month. Aug 23 Tonight 2 Quote Link to comment
5*Chris
Just got my 20l frag tank up and running. Now just need to make frag racks. Had a little bench in my daughter's room that she no longer needed, tank fit perfectly. Using the Tunze Comline 3163 for filtration, extremely nice unit, awesome amount of flow, Aqamai KPS for a little extra umph. Using my diy led bar for lighting, rebuilding my T5 setup to 24" to add to the tank. Using Maxspect bio-blocks that were cycling in a 10g for a month, but I'll add a couple pieces of live rock from my DT. Very happy with how it all turned out...now I need more frags 😁. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I found a few corals I want today at a LFS, but they said they get their big order on Friday, so figured I'd wait until tomorrow. I did leave with a chalice and whatever this extra furry coral is lol. Maybe you can tell me. 2 Quote Link to comment

It was sitting between some mint Pavonas but when I asked what it was the store worker said he didn't know. I usually won't buy something without research but its super furry and was the only one, so I had to buy it. Quote Link to comment
5*Chris
Oh, just realized I came across this coral a couple days back while researching. I had watched a video on one attacking an acro lol. I need to move some things 🤦🏽♂️. Quote Link to comment

5*Chris
@mitten_reef The Hydnophora attacked my orange marbled echinata 🤦🏽♂️. I had some space between them, but I think while blowing off the frag rack yesterday, it must've spun the frag plug. 1 Quote Link to comment

That's pretty crazy, not many corals take echinata head on and survived, let alone beat the crap out of it. I think @WV Reefer has some experience with them.....maybe? 2 1 Quote Link to comment

I got rid of mine because it would puke it’s guts up on anything remotely close to it in my 75 gallon. 2 Quote Link to comment

There's usually a brittle star that lives under the echinata, so when I first saw it that's what I thought it was. But once I realized what was going on I really thought the echinata was the attacker...nope lol. 1 Quote Link to comment

I really hope this thing doesn't puke on my frag rack, I just cleaned the tank 🤣🤣 2 Quote Link to comment
