AndresAcross
Hey guys, just got my first clown-fish for my nano tank and I was wondering if my pump is too powerful for it. I have some corals too and I don't know if the return flow that comes with the aquarium is enough and if the extra pump may be too much? I have an Aqueon 500 pump and my tank is a Fluval EVO 13.5 I'll add a video link for you guys to see how it swims, even when I turn it off it seems to like that spot and just swims over there. I'll appreciate any comments. Thanks! https://photos.app.goo.gl/LTDrzcM8NoUiLEgo8 Quote Link to comment
Clown79
The corals look fine. Can you turn down the pump a bit? Quote Link to comment
AndresAcross
I ended up changing my pump to a Hydor Koralia Nano 240 because the flow was bothering also some of my corals. "Ted" the clownfish has been doing better, I found the reason of why he was just swimming in that corner. He was not used to the light back at the LFS, it took some days for him to get acclimated to the more powerful light, he was just looking for shadow! Quote Link to comment
