pest polyps

hi all i was just wondering if anybody could tell me if the green polyp is a pest polyp or not. thanks!

They are just green paly's. Same family as Zoa's. They are not a pest unless you don't like them.

They are palys though. Can be toxic to people and pets.

Its up to you. Personally not a fan as the do grow out a bit quick but others like having them cover the rock work.

I'm going to add a few more frags to the same rock and see what happens.

Mine grew rapidly and started growing over my prettier zoas.

 

I didn't care for that myself or the paly toxin they have.

thanks for the input. i did glue down the frag, so i think I'm rolling with it. I'm going to put some rubble around it and see how these two act together and go from there.

They probably won't grow any faster than the red ones next to it. They are both palys.

I'm actually seeing more growth from the reds.
