Thanks.  That was the route I was thinking would work the best.  Just was sure if that would mean a complete demo of the existing returns or not.  I’ll have to dig a bit to see if I can find some who has already done it and how it worked out.

It’s been a while, so I figured I would give an update.  About 2 months ago the tank turned a corner.  All the corals started exploding with growth and algae stopped.  I was able to start stretching out the water changes.  If I can’t get to it on a weekend waiting til the next isn’t a big deal.  So I have started adding fish again.  A couple months ago I added purple fire fish.  Other than never coming out of his cave, he is doing great.  So, two weeks ago we added a green clown goby, who is loving all the corals, and clown fish.  All are adjusting well.  I’m still trying to decide what to put in the upper left of the tank.  Also, looking to add a twin spot goby in the near future.
