That does go to a shared inbox (that Milad is usually pretty quick at getting back to), but the 'proper' way is using the contact link on the website, this puts in a help ticket through LEDgroupbuy's Zendesk system so it's easier to keep track of on their end.

1.If i using 10 LDD drivers how many board I need.

Look like LEDGroup Buy do not has O2Surplus LDD

driver board.

2. For Bluefish mini controller how many mini ribbon cable I need per LDD

driver board?

3. Where can I get the lime led from?

Using the O2Surplus boards isn't a requirement, but the stuff he makes is quite nice. LED Group Buy sells Coralux boards, and for 10 LDDs, you would need a pair of the 5 channel boards. To wire them, you would only need a single Bluefish ribbon cable, and then just run regular wires from the three pwm channels you will be using to the different LDDs that you want to gang together.

As for Lime LEDs, Steve's LEDs and RapidLED has them.

Thank You evilc66 to the rescue.

So I only need one Bluefish ribbon cable.

Who is selling O2Surplus boards?

For this set of light I will get Coralux boards

So only Steve and Rapidled has Lime led.

I will order from them in my next order

This order I will get what LEDGroupBuy has

Thank You

O2Surplus sells O2Surplus boards :) He's a member here. Hit him up for his goodies. He has a really nice 6 channel board that has fan control and a spot for a Bluefish Mini.

Hi evilc66,

I cannot find O2Surplus under Sponsors Tab.

How can go about contacting him

Thank You

He's a member, not a sponsor. Like Jedi said, just PM him directly.

Wow this is my lucky week.

Receive my meanwell power supply and LDD drivers

Yesterday receive my 2 alumium heat sink

Today receive O2 Surplus PM.

He seems do not have a website?

Anywhere I can see his products? Or is it only LDD driver boards?

Now waiting for LEDGroupBuy delivery and the fabricated light casing .

LEDGroupBuy normally take how long to deliver.

I am in Singapore

Thank You

Now except for the casing I received all my items

i have one question now.

Where usually we should locate our mini bluefish controller?

Together with the power supply or in the light casing?

Doesn't particularly matter, the Imp card just needs to be able to get a signal, and it shouldn't be somewhere that it gets too toasty.

Thank You jedi.

Is there any place I can find detail on connecting up Bluefish mini LDD controller to the driver board. Especially if more then one driver board

Link to comment

Beside the G and 1 to 5 on the coralux driver board connect to bluefish mini G and 1 to 6 respectively. There are 2 more points on the coralux board mark as V.

Is it I connect these 2 points to the power supply?

On the coralux board which point is positive and which point is negative?

Lastly how to connect the 2nd coralux board to the bluefish mini?

Is it parallel from the 1st coralux board board input point?

Thank You

Link to comment

V is Vin, as in power supply positive. Connect power supply negative to one of the G ground points.

Connecting a second LDD board requires every connection to be run in parallel to the second board (except the LED outputs of course).

From the back of the coralux driver board on the Input side I see(Solder side)

VSS VSS GND GND GND 5 4 3 2 1

Which VSS is +? Right (next to GND)or Left?

Or both also is V+

I connect Power Supply V+ to any of the VSS and Power Supply V- to Coralux board GND
