Did you have the special grade sand in there that couldn't handle the flow from the Gyre?

Not really, actually it just the initial when I place the Gyre. Just an excuse to remove the sand.

Just prefer the cleaner look without the sand.

Like the corals but RIP sand. :(

.

It a nice wave maker. Love it.

Looks SO different without the sand. Very pretty either way, but wow that new fts is gorgeous!

Thank, I think it look much cleaner and neat. Hope can maintain it this way.

Are you doing any CA/ALK dosing? I got my lagoon in the mail a few weeks ago and will be setting it up in August!

Not dosing anything, just 15% - 20% water change every Monday and Thursday.

Thanks.

How's the Kessil light working for you? I love mine.

The light is awesome, love the effects and the simplicity.

Thought of adding one more A360w. Might be overkill

I think your tanks is 24 inches long right? One A360we should be plenty for that.

I think i place the light too low. It about 8" above the water.

What's the setting for ur light?

what salt mix do you use???

I'm using Rea Sea coral pro now.

Might change to H2O or Marine Environment.

Just move the light up to about 12", better spread.

12pm - 2pm - Intensity 20%, color 0%

2pm - 4pm - Intensity 40%, color 20%

4pm - 6pm - intensity 50%, color 25%

6pm - 9pm - intensity 100%, color 35%

9pm - 11pm - intensity 50%, 0%
