teenyreef
Thx Teeny and David! I've been thinking about setting up a fusion 10 until our house is ready. I just want to start reefing . I already have a skimmer and heater for it (i was searching for a fusion for almost 2 years but couldn't find one in Belgium and now it pops up at my lfs ). When our house is ready, i can Always use the fusion as a qt . Rory 10g isn't a bad size for a frag tank, too 1 Quote Link to comment

Rory282
Finally received the prices for the im 10 ghost skimmer and custom caddy. Must say i'm bummed out about this... Im fusion 10= 219.95€ (244$) Ghost skimmer= 199,95€ (222€) Custom caddy=29,95€ (33,25$) Knowing the prime costs around 275 - 300€ (333€) This is one expensive small tank! Need to find something else... I mean, i can buy an ada tank for half the price of the fusion :-(... Quote Link to comment
Rory282
So i think i found my aquascape, what do you guys and girls think? The tall rock goes on the left and the smaller one on the right. I like an open scape with not to many rocks. Any other ideas are welcome. 1 Quote Link to comment

ManGups
Looks good ... Put it in the dry tank and post pictures ... It is difficult to imagine scape with just rock and no reference of tank .. Quote Link to comment

Rory282
So i might have a little space problems and may have to go with the reefer nano. Do you guys and girls think the double cone 130 and red dragon 2500 would be too much overkill for the nano? Would use the ecotech marine xr15pro for lighting. I made a drawing of the skimmer section of the reefer nano and fitted the skimmer on it. The volute will be just under the filter sock. Please tell me what you think? Quote Link to comment
TristanC
Im not sure about the equipment being too much but I can say I doubt you will be disappointed going with the nano over the 170. 1 Quote Link to comment
Rory282
Thx Tristan, i actually like the form factor of the nano better. Think the skimmer will be way to much eventually... Not planning on stocking the nano heavy. More like the elos mini Lawn had a while ago. That thing was sweet! Just two small gobiodon okinawae (makes the tank look bigger imo ) and some nice corals. 1 Quote Link to comment
TristanC
That sounds like a good plan, I say go for it. I'm actually doing some research on skimmers right now for my tank. I don't need it yet but it's something I'd like to add down the line. 1 Quote Link to comment
Rory282
Not that easy to find a good skimmer for the nano... Almost everything will be too much i think . I went for the bubble king because my tank needs to be as quiet as possible. What skimmers are you looking at? Quote Link to comment

Rory282
Sooo the slow motion continues... The thing is, it probably won't be a reefer... I bought a new piece for my tank. behold: the skimz sumpro up21! 2 Quote Link to comment
P Sherman
I too am super slow in building my aquarium! But this is a very nice addition. Looks good. 1 Quote Link to comment
Rory282
So i made a little sketch of how i would like to build my tank. Waiting for the apex atk to be available in EUROPE so i can purchase it. Still doubting about the lights, i like the look of a radion over the reefer. Is it worth it or should i buy the reefer 170 deluxe and use the hydra26hd it comes with. The giesemann verve is also nice but the tank mount is really bulky, i mean really really bulky. Quote Link to comment
gogeta
Congratulations on marriage and a baby and a new tank build! looking good so far 1 Quote Link to comment
