rocksmom
Thanks everyone! My last couple tank experiences were such a pain that this one almost seems too easy. I keep waiting for something to happen. It's definitely nice just being able to enjoy the tank. It's like we're finally experiencing this hobby the way it's meant to be experienced. One of these days I want to do a write up of the food and maitenance schedule for anyone interested and start taking some monthly pictures to document growth. Link to comment

rocksmom
this is like...my dream tank... You've got to be kidding me. Your tank is beautiful! I was just ogling your pics in fact What kind of fish is that? Looks like she's gonna pop soon! It's an ORA Tiger Goby. Elacatinus macrodon. I loooove her. I assume some of that bulge is eggs, but she also eats like a pig. She comes up and stares at me when I'm looking at the tank just begging to be fed. Link to comment

I love the scape and your choice of livestocks. I always wanted this tank but didn't want to deal with a sump. Now that I know Chris can turn it into an AIO, it's like the happiest reef day for me. So awesome! Link to comment

rocksmom
any idea who can custom build an mesh lid for JBJ 28g nano? You can try Chris at Pico Aquariums. He makes nice acrylic ones with mesh in the center. If you're talking about the one on my tank it's just a kit from Bulk Reef Supply. Link to comment

gena
Gorgeous . The trumpets look a little bleached..wonder if being surrounded by acans is stressing them out? Link to comment
DCUEVAS74
Fabulous setup! I too may have to compliment you by duplication Awesome look with the extra space and awesome selection of corals. Bravo! Link to comment
rocksmom
Thank you both! Gorgeous . The trumpets look a little bleached..wonder if being surrounded by acans is stressing them out? And gena... good catch, but they're actually recovering. They were pretty much completely white in my 5G and have since regained all the color that you see in those pictures. Hopefully they continue to color up. I was so sad the one day my sister was visiting and while looking at the 5G said "I like the white one," meaning the candy canes. I didn't bother to tell her how they were supposed to look. Link to comment

rocksmom
Nice tank!...your angelfish picks any coral?..looks good He (she?) looks like he picks at everything, but nothing has shown any sign of damage from him. He does the same thing to the rock, so I think he might just be after pods and such. And thanks! Link to comment

That's good news! My pink and green trumpets are bleaching from too much light. I'm hoping it will stop on it's own because I really don't want to have to move them. Just going to keep an eye on them. Maybe stick a shade above them somehow to shield them from the blinding light. Your sister has great taste in coral . Link to comment
