NeoClown
I need to start thinking more about where to place my corals. I've just been leaving them as is til they get better acclimated and grow out. I've noticed that the duncan i added a few weeks ago is starting to grow a new head. The frogspawn is possibly growing a new one as well. The dry rocks have started to color up more these past 2 weeks and I can now see some pink coloring. coraline algae perhaps? Quote Link to comment
NeoClown
Latest update. I found another head growing on the duncan, making that 3 new heads. I've also added my first RFA along with a small candy button coral. I've also had to replace my pump again for my Tunze nano ATO. The only time it would pump was when I turned the switch off and on. Also, thanks to Zia, I have several new additions to the tank. Will let them acclimate more before relocating to permanent spot. NeoClown
Hi All, I haven't updated this in a long time. Since my last post, the tank has had its ups and downs. Mainly due to poor husbandry because I didn’t have time to take care of it. Then I had a large algae outbreak for a few months until I was able to get it under control. Unfortunately, I lost a lot of coral because of it and unstable parameters. I’ve also had bouts with aptasia which is currently being controlled with a peppermint shrimp. For the past year I’ve been able to keep the tank pretty stable, and with SIP, it’s probably the best it’s ever been. Latest upgrades have been swapping out the flow pump for an IceCap 1K gyre. It has been great but I only run it up to 30%. I'm looking for an MP10 to place on the opposite side of the tank to create some turbulence. I also changed my Kessil a160 to an a360we which has been a great improvement. I swapped out my cover for one of those diy kits and it's allowing more light in the tank. I'm currently using an Inkbird temperature controller and recently bought an ApexEL but have yet to install it. FTS: 08.04.2020 1 Quote Link to comment

NeoClown
I was doing 4 gallons every week for quite a while but I think it was a little to much, so now I do 2-3 gallons every other weekend. Quote Link to comment
