kylhcky
welcome, there's a decent amount of support popping up for this tank lately. watch that water line with the stock screen tabs. mine use to do that when i ran into a restriction in my system, it occasionally wicked water down the side of the tank a few times that it happened. reefernanoman
What made you decide to go with this new light if I may ask? the simplicity? the price? Link to comment
WickedReef
Well, I have a kessil 350w on my 25 gal reef and really like it. Then seeing the new 160 that's controllable it was a no brainer. These are really great lights. Link to comment

WickedReef
Thanks for the nice comments guys, Those pictures of my 25 were taken with my Nexus 5. The camera software does have a white balance that I can adjust so they come out decent.Going to Velcro the edge of the curtain down to keep sun off the tank.Getting Closer Link to comment
da1001
I push-pinned my blinds to my wall so there was zero light transfer and absolutely no cold/hot air coming in from around the sides. It's good stuff. Link to comment
WickedReef
Well, got my Tunze Osmolator Nano 3152 installed today luckily i have one in my other tank so it was a piece of cake also installed a Tripp Lite 8-Outlet Safety Power Strip with GFCI Plug and Reliance Products Aqua-Pak 2.5 Gallon Rigid Water Container. Debating on getting a Apex jr. or just a Kessil Controller? anyone else have the kessil controller? Im steering towards the kessil and save some money. Link to comment
joem1cha3l
Definitely in on this build! I am doing mine as well so it'll be great to watch our tanks progress! Link to comment
WickedReef
Well got sand, salt and rock in also receiving kessil controller in the mail today. I may change the rock-work not really sure yet? Need to run some errands today so im gonna cruise by LFS today and look at some dry rock. The large mesh is showing patterns on my rockwork and sand so im going to be replacing the Innovative Marine mesh with some thinner stuff I had left over from my other tank. Link to comment

Normang
Well, I have a kessil 350w on my 25 gal reef and really like it. Then seeing the new 160 that's controllable it was a no brainer. These are really great lights. I have the fusion 20 and I cant decide on the lights. I like the xr15 pro and the kessil 160 Since you have a 350 and a 160, do you feel the 160 has a large enough spread to cover the 2 foot length of the fusion 20gal? How are you liking the light? Kessils website says the 160w and 350w have a spread of 24" Which I believe is the same as the xr15 pro. Ive been debating maybe replacing the 350w getting a 160w for my 25 because of the price and controllability. I run my 350w at 60 blue and 45-50 white and that seems to be more than enough for my 25 which is mainly softy's and a couple easy sps. The size of the tank is 21.5 wide x 16"tall x 14.5 Front to back not including rear sump which is 4.5". So I would think the 160w should be fine. Link to comment
