It's been awesome seeing this tank from start to now. Even though the tank is looking great now, I'm suspecting it will start to really take off in the next few weeks. As a newbie reefer, seeing your tank gets me envious and motivated. This hobby is awesome! Link to comment

But again we take them out of the ocean to preserve them. Since we know our society is polluting the oceans and destroying the reefs anyway. We will have no natural reefs in the ocean in the future with the hobby or not. So might as well try and preserve them. But yes, today I'm getting some livestock hopefully since I'm also switching stands on the 45g and cleaning my sump as well as doing some mods on it. I also have to rearrange my wires and add a skim waste collector to my skimmer. Such a fun day! Link to comment

Reefkid88 Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Absolutely man,I agree. 95% of humans could give a damn about our oceans/reefs. Which is the sad parts. I know we have farms ( in the oceans ) that're harvesting/growing frags JUST for this hobby,which is nice. It just sucks in a sense because for the longest time Acro's were the ones on the severely endangered species,and while lps and softies were over looked and severely just taken from the ocean,now they are heading in the same direction. Hopefully we are able to take action and preserve our reefs for our kids kids to enjoy,but idk if we'll make it that far. Link to comment
